Evening Boat Cruise
There’s no better way to end a day than on the water. As the heat softens and the light turns gold, a boat cruise brings you close to hippos wallowing, elephants drinking at the shore, buffalo, crocodiles, and birds in their hundreds.
The legendary Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth National Park offers some of the densest concentrations of hippos and waterbirds in Africa, while a cruise along the Nile in Murchison Falls carries you to the foot of a thundering waterfall. Calm, scenic, and utterly relaxing after a morning on the trails.
Birding Excursions
With more than 1,000 recorded species, this is one of the finest birding regions on the planet. From the prehistoric-looking shoebill stalking the Mabamba wetlands near Entebbe, to the jewel-bright turacos and the rare Albertine Rift endemics of Bwindi, every forest and wetland holds something special.

Community & Forest Walks

Visit the community-run Bigodi wetland near Kibale, alive with birds and monkeys, take the Buhoma village walk beside Bwindi, or share in the heritage of the Batwa, the forest’s original inhabitants. These walks support local livelihoods directly, so your visit gives back as you go.
